Info for Parents/Caregivers
In Girl Scouts, your girl will have a great experience meeting new friends, exploring the outdoors and learning new skills, all in a girl-led and nurturing environment. Our program is designed for girls from Kindergarten-12th grade, and at every level, Girl Scouts have fun while being challenged to make the world a better place.
Girl Scout programs are focused in the areas of STEM, Outdoor Experiences, Entrepreneurship/Financial Literacy, Civic Engagement and Life Skills.
As a parent/caregiver, you play a key role in your Girl Scout’s experience. Girl Scouts is a family experience. You can volunteer to lead her troop, chaperone a field trip and so much more! Learn more about volunteer opportunities here.
Always stay up to date on all the happenings by reading our monthly parent/caregiver publications (Daisy & Brownie, Junior or Linger for Cadettes and up). You are signed up to receive when your girl and/or you are registered. Be sure to like and follow us via Facebook, Instagram & Twitter and read the GSKSMO blog for helpful tips and inspiring stories.
