During this fishing session with Fishing's Future Master Angler, girls learn the basics of fishing and experience the excitement of catching fish. Parents/troop leaders are strongly encouraged to participate with their girl(s) creating a bond and memory that can be formed nowhere else. 

Girls will learn basic water front fishing safety practices, fish identification, fish measurement, proper catch and release techniques and fishing knots. Then their knowledge and skills to the pond.

This experience will consist of 30-45 minutes of fishing education and 30-45 minutes of fishing on the pond. All fish are catch and release at Camp Tongawood. The Fishing's Future Master Angler will call on troop leaders and parents to help girls with their experience. 

Cost per Person: $6

What to bring:

- Comfortable closed toe shoes

- Comfortable weather appropriate clothing

- Water bottle

- Hand cleaner/sanitizer (sinks are available in the Outpost but these are nice to have as well)

All equipment needed for fishing will be provided by Fishing's Future and GSKSMO.
