Tri-Beta Girl Scout STEM Day
Beta Beta Beta is hosting a STEM event for Brownie & Junior Girl Scouts at Avila University. This event will have an emphasis on exploring different types of careers in science. The activities will be hands on, working with professors who teach in fields like math, chemistry, and biology. An exciting chemistry magic show will bring the event to a close. Every girl attending will receive a Beta Beta Beta patch.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Girl Scouts must be registered as a troop and accompanied by their leaders for this event. Troops must maintain the adult/girl ratio. Girl Scouts not accompanied by their troop that wish to attend this event are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent. Girl Scouts cannot be dropped off for this event. Open to the first 100 Girl Scouts who register. Registration w/payment is on a first come, first serve basis. Please send check with registration form.
Cost Per Girl: $10 (Fee’s include commemorative patch, drink, and a snack)
Cost Per Adult: No cost
Registration Requirements: All girls participating as a Girl Scout in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background check. If non-registered individuals (adults or tags) are allowed to participate in this activity, supplemental insurance is required. Use the Insurance Purchase Form to purchase insurance at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Completed forms can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
