KC Symphony Dress Rehearsal

In preparation for a weekend of concerts, the Kansas City Symphony and Kansas City Symphony Chorus will rehearse Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Bernstein Chichester Psalms and Tchaikovsky’s Concert Fantasy. This private rehearsal will only be open to invited guests of the musicians and Girl Scouts 8 years and older and their family members.

Event Schedule (times are approximate):

  • ·         6:30pm arrival
  • ·         7-8:20pm rehearsal
  • ·         8:20pm orchestra break
  • ·         8:40-9:30pm rehearsal continues

Cost Per Person: Free

Registration Requirements: All girls participating as a Girl Scout in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background checks. If non-registered individuals (adults or tags) are allowed to participate in this activity supplemental insurance is required. Use the Insurance Purchase Form to purchase insurance at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Completed forms can be emailed to programapprovals@gsksmo.org.

Additional Info: Parking is $10 in the Arts District Garage. Street parking on surrounding streets is free, as available.
