How many of you have walked through your house or a friend’s house and called out, “Alexa, play High Hopes by Panic! At The Disco”? Or maybe, you’ve lost your phone – again – and you need a little help. Simply say, “Alexa, trigger find my phone” and follow the ringtone to its magical mystery location. The ability to do each of these things required the work of developers behind the scenes.

Research shows that in less than two years the number of Alexa skills developers has gone from an estimated 15,000 worldwide, to hundreds of thousands today. Want to know more about this fast-growing tech world? Learn what it takes to build an Alexa skill and work with NIC tech leaders in an Alexa coding environment. In addition to exploring the Alexa skill technology, you will learn about a variety of IT careers and get to test out some of the latest tech gadgets.
