Girl Scout Painting: A Virtual Experience

Girl Scouts will explore a wide range of painting styles represented in the Nelson-Atkins collection and experiment with painting themselves. Materials will need to be assembled in advance, but art-instruction will be conducted through Zoom. Girls will receive a Shuttlecock Fun Patch for participation.

After the event, share your one-of-a-kind piece of art with us to be included in the GSKSMO Virtual Art Show!  

Materials needed: White and colored paper, pencil, scissors, glue, paint, paintbrush, non-traditional painting tools (sponge, cotton swab, twig, cardboard, etc.)

Cost per girl: $5
