Virtual Junior Jeweler Workshop
Explore jewelry making and creative reuse with these fun projects for earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. A ScrapsKC educator will review jewelry making tools of the trade, as well as show how different cultures use various items to create lasting pieces.
Each ticket comes with a kit of supplies that will enable girls to make three pieces of jewelry from repurposed materials/found objects, as well as give them skills to find new life for other objects they come across. Kits will need to be picked up from ScrapsKC before the class time, unless shipping is paid for. This workshop satisfies all steps of the Junior Jeweler Badge.
