Learn the basics of crime scene investigation and get hands-on with fingerprinting. Witness a shooting incident reconstruction demonstration first-hand! Topics will include how to process a crime scene, different ways to process evidence and what evidence can tell the investigator, as well as a shooting incident reconstruction demonstration and a tour of the crime scene vehicle used by the Lawrence Police Department Crime Scene Unit. 

NOTE: Girl Scouts will be exposed to sensitive topics.  Please alert caregivers before signing girls up for this event if you are a troop leader. Due to the nature of the materials covered at this event, no tagalongs are allowed. This is for individual Girl Scouts rather than a troop activity. Badge not included.
