Water purification is one of the most important subjects facing people everywhere. Though there are many ways to artificially purify water there are also natural ways that this can be achieved. Through ecosystems like the Museum at Prairiefire Wetlands MAP scientists can research how water systems can purify themselves and be treated through engineering. Join MAP scientists to explore the hard-working Museum at Prairiefire Wetlands and investigate how water sculpts the land with our hands-on stream table.

 Daisy   Brownie

Working as a member of a team, each girl helps design and build a roller coaster for a marble to travel on (without falling off), that has at least two complete vertical loops with three half-sections of pipe insulation and duct tape. This hands-on experience introduces girls to the idea that energy can be transformed from one form to another and brings into focus energy can be lost.
