The Coterie Theatre

The Coterie Theatre provides unique theatre experiences for families and young audiences. The company is nationally-recognized for its one-of-a-kind programming that features a year-round season of live plays and musicals on the company's mainstage, as well as acting and theatre classes year-round for PreK-12th grades at multiple locations around Kansas City, including an extensive summer program of classes and performance camps. Established in 1979, The Coterie is a not-for-profit professional theatre company with the mission of educating, entertaining, and challenging audiences by opening lines of communication between races, sexes, and generations.

Registration Requirements: All girls participating as a Girl Scout in these activities must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background checks. Goosebumps: The Phantom of the Auditorium – The Musical

The Coterie presents a new musical based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps book series. Brooke and Zeke have been cast as the leads in the school's new production of an old play about a phantom. Mysterious things start interrupting rehearsals and they have to wonder: is this someone's idea of a joke or is the Phantom real? A silly and spooky musical adventure ensues that will bring out your inner sleuth and keep everyone in suspense until the final curtain.

Start Times: 11am, 1pm, 7pm (performances times vary by date). Performance runs 75 minutes with no intermission

Cost Per Girl: $12; Group rates for 20 or more are available for $5-$7.00 per person, regardless of age (group rates vary depending on performance date and time)
