GSKSMO Community Partner Registration Requirements
All girls participating in a Community Partner activity must be currently registered Girl Scout members. If participating as a troop, volunteers must be registered Adult Girl Scouts and/or have an approved background check on file with GSKSMO.
If the event allows for non-registered individuals (adults or tags) to participate in an activity, they must be covered under our supplemental insurance plan. Use the Insurance Purchase Form to request insurance at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
If the activity is classified as higher risk or includes an overnight it therefore requires an Activity and Trip Application. Please complete the form at least 6 weeks prior to participating in the activity.
Girl Scouts safety requirements must be followed during all Community Partner activities, including maintaining adult and girl safety ratios. Please note that Community Partners are NOT background checked and do not count in ratio. The majority of Community Partner events are not drop off events.
The Internet Safety Pledge must be completed prior to any virtual programming.
