YOU SCHEDULE IT! OPPORTUNITIES:

A World of Stories

 Brownie

Girl Scouts will explore a range of stories, from traditional folk tales to modern day Disney cartoons, to investigate the ways female characters have historically been portrayed. In small groups, girls will then get to brainstorm ways to change these characters behaviors, viewpoints, and characteristics that better reflects a confident and empowered female of today.  Girls then choose one fictional character to revamp in puppet form, culminating into an informal “performance” where girls can share their newly imagined character puppets with the group.
