Off the Grid Slumber Zzzzoofari

 Brownie   Junior

Explore the zoo like never before by staying the night.  During this overnight expedition, troops will learn that there are fun and exciting activities to do with little to no electricity.  We’ll collectively help each other minimize our impact on our planet.  Girls will play a variety of outdoor games while the sun is still out and after it sets, as well as engage in other activities and a craft project that can be accomplished with little or no electricity.  All the activities for this workshop connect to a mixture of It’s Your Planet, Love It! Journeys, with the underlying concept of using minimal electricity coming from the Junior’s Get Moving Journey.

Program Cost: A Zoo overnight is $300 per group (up to 10 people). Each guests after 10 is $30 each. If your group includes children, at least one adult chaperone needs to accompany the group throughout the overnight. Adult chaperones apply towards the group total; either as one of the ten included in the package or if your party is greater than 10 people, each chaperone will be charged the regular $30/person rate. You can also add a large pizza with up to two toppings to your Slumber Zzzoofari for an additional $15.

Additional Information: Two weeks advance notice is required to book; subject to availability. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a date and applies towards the final cost.

This activity is classified as higher risk or includes an overnight and therefore requires an Activity and Trip Application. Please complete this form at least 6 weeks prior to the participation in this activity.
