Forming Fiber

 All Levels 
September 9 - November 27

Sculptural fiber art is one of the most innovative forms of contemporary art. This exhibit showcases fiber sculpture in a variety of materials and techniques.

Some artists use traditional techniques such as stitching, weaving and crocheting with unconventional materials. Other artists use traditional fiber materials with nontraditional techniques. To schedule a group tour, email gallery@tscpl.org.

YOU SCHEDULE IT! OPPORTUNITIES:
Book Artist Workshop (Cadette)

Visit the Sabatini art gallery and complete several steps of the Book Artist badge with artist Betsy Roe. Included in this talk are a variety of materials used, book structures – from pop-ups to installations, and contemporary book artists from around the world. There is a hands-on component in which you will learn to make your own one-page book structure.
