Registration Requirements: All girls participating as a Girl Scout in these activities must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background checks. If non-registered individuals (adults or tags) are allowed to participate in this activity supplemental insurance is required. Use the Insurance Purchase Form to purchase insurance at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Completed forms can be emailed to programapprovals@gsksmo.org.

Kansas Youth Art
April 1- April 29, 2018

Artworks from around the state will be exhibited by the Kansas Art Educators Association. Students from elementary, middle and high schools are selected by their teachers to participate.

The Printed Image 7
September 7 – October 21, 2018

This national juried print competition features artists working in hand-pulled print media and presents the latest concepts and techniques in printmaking.

Over There: Americans Abroad in World War I
November 9, 2018 – January 6, 2019

This traveling exhibitions showcase World War I overseas military photography from the immense photographic holdings of the National Archives. The exhibition includes photographs from the fronts, behind the lines, and the consequences of the war as well as how it was remembered.

 
Book Artist Workshop (Cadettes)

Visit the Sabatini art gallery and complete several steps of the Book Artist badge with artist Betsy Roe. Included in this power point talk are a variety of materials used, book structures – from pop-ups to installations, and contemporary book artists from around the world. There is a hands-on component in which you will learn to make your own one-page book structure.
