Girl Scout Day - Worlds of Fun

Girl Scout Day at Worlds of Fun is part of the 2020 Girl Scout Cookie Recognition Program. Girl Scouts who sold 500+ boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and chose Worlds of Fun as their recognition will earn two complimentary passes, one souveneir drink bottle (with unlimited fountain drinks), one unlimited fountain drink wristband and a fun patch. 

Orders must be received by July 30 and will be mailed along with the Girl Scout patches.

Please note this is a family event. Girls must attend with a caregiver.

Cost per person: $37

How to Register: Please review GSKSMO's registration requirements before registering. All passes (including recognition earners and non-recognition earners) will be purchased through Worlds of Fun. Register by completing the registration form linked below. Orders must be received by July 30.

All ticket sales will close on Thursday, July 30.

Important COVID-19 Information

This is a family event not a troop event. Girls may only attend if accompanied by a caregiver.

Online Reservations
If you are an incentive earner or if you purchase tickets using the Girl Scout order form, then you WILL NOT need to make an online reservation.

If you are a season pass holder and will be attending Girl Scout Day then you WILL need to make an online reservation on the Worlds of Fun website.

Health Screening
If you are an incentive earner or if you purchase tickets using the Girl Scout order form, then you WILL NOT need to complete the online health screening.

If you are a season pass holder and will be attending Girl Scout Day, then you WILL need to complete the online health screening.

Temperature Check
All park guests will be required to pass through a thermal screening tent where your temperature will be read. If anyone in your party has a temperature of 100.4°F / 38°C or higher, you will be directed to return home and reschedule your visit.

Face Masks
Face masks are required at all times while at Worlds of Fun.

SWAPS Exchange
Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19 the SWAPS Exchange has been cancelled for this year.

FAQs

Is parking included in the recognition?
No. A parking voucher may be purchased for $17 when you complete the order form or you can purchase one for $19 at the parking toll booth using a contactless form of payment such as credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

Can I pay cash for parking when I arrive at the park?
No. Guests may purchase a parking voucher ahead of time using the Girl Scout Day order form or you may pay with a cashless payment method such as a credit card, Apply Pay, or Google Pay at the parking toll booth.

Will Oceans of Fun be open?
A 2020 opening date for Oceans of Fun has yet to be determined.

Will there be live entertainment and character interactions in the park?
No. Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, there will be no live entertainment of character interactions in the park.

Will park maps be available?
No. Paper maps will not be provided at the park. Guests are encouraged to download the Worlds of Fun mobile app and use the map provided.

Will patches be available for pick-up on August 8 for season pass holders?
Yes. Girl Scout Day at Worlds of Fun patches will be available for pick-up at Will Call and Guest Services. 

What is included in the cookie recognition for Worlds of Fun?

  • Two complimentary passes
  • One souveneir drink bottle (with unlimited foundation drinks)
  • One unlimited fountain drink wrist band
  • One fun patch

My family holds annual passes; can we still get patches?

Absolutely!  On Girl Scout day, please visit Will Call or Guest Services to pick up your patch.

What to Expect at Worlds of Fun

Ride and Attractions Info

To maintain social distancing and avoid the spread of germs, here’s what you’ll see and experience at our rides and attractions:

  • Some areas, rides and attractions are not conducive for social distancing and are closed for now. See the mobile app for Worlds of Fun’s open attractions.
  • Wait lines for open rides and attractions will be marked for social distancing.
  • Some seats and rows will be unavailable to accommodate social distancing.
  • Seats, restraints, headrests and armrests will be sanitized frequently

Dining

We know delicious, fun food is a special part of the Worlds of Fun experience and we’ve got you covered. Here’s what you’ll see and experience when enjoying our scrumptious food and beverages:

  • Some tables have been removed for social distancing.
  • Distancing is marked on the floor for wait lines.
  • All disposable products, including pre-wrapped utensils.
  • Plastic barriers between guests and ambassadors.
  • Contactless payments, including credit card, Apple Pay and Android Pay are encouraged.

Shops, Merchandise and Games

  • Social distancing must be maintained at all of our retail and game locations.
  • It’s very important to continue wearing your mask in these locations.
  • Contactless payment is encouraged where possible.

Helpful Reminders

The coronavirus has created a new way of life for everyone, so you’ll see lots of reminders throughout the park to:

  • Wash your hands every 20 minutes. We have many hand sanitizer stations all through the park.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Wear your face mask at all times .
  • Maintain 6' social distance from other park guests and ambassadors.
  • Be in the know about all things Worlds of Fun with our mobile app. You can find nearby hand sanitizer stations, restrooms, open dining locations, and available attractions and rides.
  • Use contactless forms of payment, including credit cards, Apple Pay and Android Pay.

Restrooms

Everyone knows restrooms can be a source of germs, so we want you to know we are following strict guidelines to help you have a safe experience. We are:

  • Sanitizing restrooms frequently throughout the day.
  • Deep cleaning restrooms at the end of each day.
  • Monitoring traffic within restrooms to allow for social distancing.
