Children's Peace Pavilion
The Children's Peace Pavillion is a unique interactive children's museum designed to teach the concepts of peace through creative, fun, child-centered learning activities. Every element in the museum is designed to empower children to incorporate peacemaking skills into their everyday lives.
Current partner programs are listed below.
Daisy Brownie Junior
Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can experience the interactive exhibits at the Children’s Peace Pavilion. The Pavilion's unique, child-friendly exhibits teach conflict resolution, violence prevention, character education, self-esteem, cultural understanding, and planetary stewardship by focusing on four essential elements of peace. For Daisy Girl Scout this experience can enhance the Daisy Petals.
Many of the activities also relate to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and troops can choose to focus on one of the three keys to leadership during their visit or to enhance a Journey experience.
Cost Per Girl: Admission to the Pavilion is free but donations of $1.00 per child and adult are appreciated.
