Just Like You Films is a local nonprofit film production company creating powerful tools in the drive for acceptance. Our mission is to raise a global generation of kids who, because of their knowledge and understanding, are more empathetic and compassionate people.

Just Like You Film Screening

You have the power to create a kinder world through the power of film by watching and sharing Just Like You Films. Emmy Award winning filmmaker and founder, Jen Greenstreet, and acclaimed photographer and Emmy Award winning director of photography, Isaac Alongi, have collaborated to develop films and materials that educate a global community on communicating about difficult subjects. These films are a source for teachers, community leaders, therapists, law enforcement, and parents, just to name a few. Just Like You Films shares the perspective of courageous children living with a severe burn injuries, cancer, autism, facial anomalies, diabetes, Down Syndrome, anxiety disorders and depression, and food allergies, and shows the world that they are not defined or limited by their unique circumstance. Instead, they are ’just like you’.

**Troop leaders are strongly encouraged to view the film prior to showing to their troop to determine if it is appropriate for their girls.

Materials needed: Films are available online, and for free. You will need a computer or smart TV, and an internet connection to stream the films.
