The Center for Safety and Empowerment at the YWCA Northeast Kansas provides free and confidential services to victims/survivors of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and stalking in Shawnee, Jackson, Wabaunsee and Brown Counties in Kansas.

We greatly appreciate the support of The Giving Parade and the Girl Scout’s added voice in amplifying awareness of the crucial work being done at YWCA Northeast Kansas. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. 

Items that we need include:

  • Black women’s hair care products
  • Women’s shaving gel and razors 
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Shampoo & Conditioner – Full Size 
  • Body Wash – Full Size 
  • Toothpaste 
  • Toothbrushes
  • Deodorant 
  • Body Lotion – Full Size 
  • Toilet paper
  • Duffel Bags – Preferably a 20-inch bag 
  • NEW Twin sheets and blankets
  • NEW Bath towels and washcloths
  • Plastic cups, sippy cups and bowls (dishwasher safe) 
  • Cleaning supplies 
  • Zip–lock bags 
  • Laundry detergent 
  • Clear, plastic storage tubs with lids
