Together we are able to work side by side with low-income families to make their dreams come true.

ReStore Tour

Daisy   Brownie   Junior   Cadette   Senior   Ambassador

Habitat for Humanity revitalizes neighborhoods by building new houses and helping existing homeowners with exterior painting, critical repair and home weatherization. ReStore resale outlets provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of our landfills while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work.

Girl Scouts are invited to come tour our ReStore and learn how we recycle and repurpose to keep items out of the landfill and how recycling helps your community, even more than just keeping items out of the landfill. This opportunity is a perfect fit forIt’s Your PlanetandGet Moving!Journeys. Girl Scouts will learn all the ways ReStore recycles from start to finish, including basic glass recycling and a conversation with our ReStore Manager about how she recycles material into unique and new pieces to be sold in our store.
