Blade & Timber Axe Throwing

Axe throwing at Blade & Timber is perfect for team building with family and friends, celebrating special occasions and meeting new people through open play and leagues. Our certified axe coaches spend time with each guest to teach proper axe throwing techniques and safety practices. Blade & Timber was founded in 2017 by two local Kansas City entrepreneurs, and is certified by AxeSafety.com.

Axe Throwing 

 Cadette    Senior    Ambassador

Throw axes during your next troop meeting, adventure outing or celebration. All guests will spend one-on-one time with certified axe coaches to review proper throwing techniques, safety protocol and strategies to land a bullseye! 

During the 1.5 hour experience, the girls will meet their certified axe coach, spend about 15 minutes learning about Blade & Timber’s safety procedures as a group and work one-on-one with a certified axe coach to master axe throwing techniques. Coaches will be present throughout the experience to help the girls perfect their throwing, share the variety of axe throwing games available to play and can even teach a few fancy trick shots!

Blade & Timber is all about creating unique, memorable experiences to bring people together. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

Blade & Timber offers:
- Private lanes - up to six people per lane at $108 with special Girl Scouts pricing 
- Shared lanes at $18/person with Girl Scout pricing

- Non-throwing spectators are free, but must still complete an online waiver to enter the facility

Additional Information: All girls participating as Girl Scouts must be Cadettes or older to throw axes at Blade & Timber. All Blade & Timber guests must complete a waiver to participate or watch. Guests under 17 yeras of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete Blade & Timber’s waiver to enter the facility.

Registration Requirements:  All girls participating as a Girl Scout in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background checks. If non-registered individuals (adults or tags) are allowed to participate in this activity supplemental insurance is required. Use the Insurance Purchase Form to purchase insurance at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Completed forms can be emailed to programapprovals@gsksmo.org.

These activities are classified as higher risk or includes an overnight and therefore requires an Activity and Trip Application. Please complete this form at least 6 weeks prior to the participation in this activity.
