Women in Technology

CoderDojoKC is a volunteer run free coding club for girls and boys ages 7-17. This program is brought to you by Kansas City Women in Technology.

CoderDojo Sessions

Free event for kids to learn the fundamental concepts of coding. Participants start out using Scratch, a visual code interface, and work their way up to more complicated languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Registration Requirements: All girls participating as a Girl Scout in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. If attending as a troop, all volunteers also need to be registered members and/or have completed and approved background checks. If non-registered individuals (adults or tags) are allowed to participate in this activity supplemental insurance is required.
