Camp Fury & Catching Fury
Camp Fury
During this resident camp, Girl Scouts train alongside female firefighters and law enforcement personnel to learn firefighting, police and EMS skills, practice defensive tactics, achieve physical activities (ladder climbing and rappelling!) and develop investigative abilities. Girls will be mentored by remarkable women in the field from all across the metro area.
Throughout this intense program, girls grow even more courageous, strong, confident and capable, ready to become our change-makers for tomorrow and role models for their fellow Girl Scouts. This program is for all Girl Scouts (and not-yet-Girl Scouts), regardless of career aspirations.
This camp is a physically and mentally challenging immersive experience. Girls will be encouraged to challenge themselves to take risks and complete numerous tasks which are both physically and mentally taxing. This sometimes involves pushing past fears and overcoming mental blocks. If you have any questions about the challenges, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This program is for Girl Scouts currently in 9th, 10th, 11th and
12th grades. No exceptions will be made.
