Camp Fury
This program is a partnership between Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri, Kansas City MO Fire Department, and the Kansas City MO Police Department.
Camp Fury
During this resident camp, Girl Scouts train alongside female firefighters and law enforcement personnel to learn firefighting and EMS skills, practice defensive tactics, perform physical fitness drills and develop investigative abilities. They are mentored by remarkable women who are breaking down barriers and stereotypes in what have traditionally been male-dominated fields.
Throughout this intense program, girls grow even more courageous, strong, confident and capable, ready to become our change-makers for tomorrow and role models for their fellow Girl Scouts. This program is for all Girl Scouts, regardless of career aspirations.
This camp is a physically challenging immersive experience. Girls will be encouraged to challenge themselves to take risks and complete numerous tasks which are both physically and mentally taxing. This sometimes involves pushing past fears and overcoming mental blocks. If you have any questions about the physical challenges, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This program is open for Girl Scouts currently in 9th grade through 12th grades. No exceptions will be made.
