Inspire a Girl

Inspire a Girl is our council’s initiative to encourage Girl Scouts to work toward their Highest Awards (Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards) and celebrate service to others. This initiative is two-fold beginning with our Service to Others Month in March and followed by our BIG G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ Event, the G.I.R.L. Expo & Gold Award Ceremony in April. This event gives younger girls an opportunity to take on interactive program and community partner activities, learn more about the Highest Awards, get inspired by our Gold Award Girl Scouts’ projects and celebrate their incredible achievements.

Our 2018 Gold Award Girl Scouts

Congratulations to our 2018 Gold Award Girl Scouts! Earned when she is in grades 9-12, the Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve. This prestigious award is earned by a select group of Girl Scouts who demonstrate a high commitment to improving their communities and advocating for lasting change.

Month of Service

During Inspire a Girl Month of Service 2018 we collected stories, photos and hours for all the AWESOME Take Action/service projects Girl Scouts participated in throughout March.

The project submission period has ended.
