Open to all Girl Scout levels with adult supervision (troops must meet required level adult-to-girl ratio). Adults are not required to pay.
Get ready for a self-paced outdoor adventure on the beautiful Lower Rock Ledges Trail at Lake Jacomo! This self-led hike invites Girl Scouts to explore nature at their own pace while enjoying a digital scavenger hunt and navigating the trail.
Start your journey at Shelter 14, where you’ll check in and receive a snack, drink, trail instructions, and a Leave No Trace mini-lesson. From there, head out on the trail with your troop or family group for as long—or as short—as you’d like.
What You’ll Need:
- Eventzee App – Download this free app before the event to participate in a nature-themed scavenger hunt. It’s a great way to add some fun and friendly competition to your hike!
- AllTrails App – This free app will help you navigate the Lower Rock Ledges Trail.

Parking details and the Eventzee code will be sent to you in your confirmation email on Monday, after registration closes.
Don’t forget your water bottle, good hiking shoes, and a charged phone—and get ready to explore!

Cancellation Policy
Cancelled by GSKSMO: The total fee is refunded if the event is canceled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) Cancellation by the group, camper, or attendee more than 1 week out: If the troop or individual cancels more than 1 week before the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received at least 1 week prior to the event date. Cancellations by the group, camper, or attendee less than 1 week out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 1 week before the event date, the fee will not be returned to the group or individual except in cases of illness, where a statement from the attending physician accompanies a written refund request.
