Just for Teens

At Girl Scouts, girls are always counting down to the next adventure they'll go on together. Maybe it's artistic. Maybe it's an experiment. Maybe it's getting outside or helping the community. One thing's for sure. Every adventure is another chance to take the lead and make an impact.

The activities and opportunities below are facilitated by our GSKSMO staff and designed just for Teen Girl Scouts to build upon their Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This list is ever-evolving, so check back often!

A.C.E.S. (Advocacy, Civic Engagement, Service)

GS Grade Level: Seniors, Ambassadors
Dates: 2 Sundays a month + additional meetings as needed
Location: Varies

**Applications are still being accepted!**

This special interest group is comprised of Girl Scouts in 9th-12th grade who are members in the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri council who are passionate about making a difference in world.  This girl-led group researches issues, creates action plans, engages the public sector, and is learning how to use their voice to speak truth to power.  This year, they have selected to work on the census with a variety of elected officials and organizations.  They will gain firsthand experience with the change process and build relationships with other change makers.  The group meets in-person and virtually on a regular basis as determined by the group and the needs they identify. Due to the large geographical area of our council, accommodations are made for in-person meetings when possible.

This is a commitment through July 2020.
