These are presented during service unit meetings. Throughout the year, Service Unit Support Managers, in partnership with service team members, will recognize multiple volunteers for their efforts in supporting Girl Scouts to grow their leadership skills. In addition to the awards presentation, the service unit is encouraged to share via social media. We will also share all service unit monthly awards via our council Facebook page throughout the year.
Our council accepts nominations each year, and a selection committee comprised of volunteer peers recommends the honorees. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize leaders and volunteers across our council.

New Nomination Process
Nominations are submitted through the link on this page and reflect exceptional service provided from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Additional endorsements are no longer required. Be sure the information provided on the nomination form is descriptive and complete. Please remember the Selections Committee does not know your nominee, so it is crucial to provide detailed and thorough information on why your nominee should receive the award.
Nominations will be accepted through January 13.
Recipients and nominators will be notified in early March.
Volunteer peers in one service unit can recognize one another. Most service units host an awards ceremony or gathering to recognize volunteers within their area.
