STEAM-related positions will be in high demand from architects, engineers, programmers, and developers in research and economics. But the non-STEAM workforce will also face shortages, including emergency services, carpenters, and skilled tradespeople. In addition, energy-efficiency technologies will create a demand for manufacturing, construction, and project management workers. Most jobs will involve the use of technology in some capacity.
By providing ALL girls with skills development, career exploration, STEAM education, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to community service, Girl Scouts is building a more diverse and capable workforce for the future.
Your support of Girl Scouts is vital in building this future talent pipeline.
Your contribution to the Tough Cookies Luncheon is the ingredient that funds the kinds of programming, mentorships, and experiences that help girls grow their leadership skills, make informed career decisions, and gain priceless insights into the workforce.
Invest in the Future. Invest in Girl Scouts.
