Cookie Program Resources

Cookie Dough is credit that GSKSMO Girl Scouts may earn during our annual Cookie & Fall Product Programs. Girls choose to earn "Dough" instead of another recognition item. For the 2026 Cookie Program, you can see the how girls can earn Cookie Dough for the 2026 Cookie Program by reviewing the rewards flyer.

Girls who earn Cookie Dough during the 2025-6 Membership year will be emailed with their totals in April 2026.

Any Cookie Dough earned during the 2025-6 Membership year expires on September 30, 2026. Unused Dough is forfeited at that time.

Once Cookie Dough is used, it cannot be refunded.

Each council's Cookie Dough is issued independently and cannot be transferred to other councils. Cookie Dough earned at other councils cannot be accepted for redemption by GSKSMO.

Cookie Dough can be transferred to another GSKSMO Girl Scout prior to the expiration date.

Annual Membership toggle arrow

Cookie Dough may be used for your Annual Membership. To use your "Dough" for membership, please complete the Redemption Form. Please allow 2–4 weeks to verify "Dough" amounts and process the membership.

Girl Scout Retail & Trading Post Items toggle arrow

Cookie Dough can be used for retail and trading post purchases. In most cases, if stock is not currently available, we can arrange for it to be ordered. If we cannot do that, we will provide a redemption code to use in the national e-shop. To begin the process, complete the cookie dough redemption form with the amount of Cookie Dough earned and the item number(s) of the merchandise request. Our team will follow up and confirm the next steps.

GSKSMO Day Camp toggle arrow

Cookie Dough can be redeemed when you register for Day Camp. You do not need to fill out a Redemption form to use Cookie Dough towards Day Camp. See your Day Camp Registrar for more information when you sign up for Day Camp.

Resident Camp toggle arrow

GSKSMO has established partnerships with sister councils for your Girl Scouts to attend one of their resident camp programs. To use Cookie Dough for Resident Camp, please complete the Redemption Form. You should also register your Girl Scout for the camp session(s) and pay applicable deposits.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for Cookie Dough amounts to be verified and applied to your camp balance at the sister council. You must follow the partner council’s camp payment policy and timelines to secure your registration.

GSKSMO Adventure and Excursion Programming toggle arrow

To use Cookie Dough for Adventure Programming, complete the Cookie Dough Redemption Form.

Girl Fest

To use Cookie Dough for Girl Fest 2026, use the Redemption Form and enter under Program Registration. Should you decide not to attend Girl Fest 2026, Cookie Dough will not be refunded.

Gold/Silver Award Reimbursement toggle arrow

Girl Scouts working on their Gold and Silver Awards who have earned Cookie Dough can use their Dough to help fund supplies needed for their project. These items must be tangible items, such as materials needed for the project. Cookie Dough cannot be used towards payments for services, time, or supplemental supplies like gas or food. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed, and you will be notified with a confirmation.

GSKSMO Sponsored Travel toggle arrow

Cookie Dough can be applied to travel sponsored by our council, even if the travel is occurring later than the current year. You must redeem your Cookie Dough by Sept. 30. To use Cookie Dough for your council-sponsored travel please complete the Redemption Form.

*Please note: Should you use Cookie Dough towards travel and are unable to travel or choose to cancel your trip, you will not receive a refund of Cookie Dough.
