ACES (Advocacy, Civic Engagement, Service)
Are you a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout who wants to give back and help others? Do you love meeting other Girl Scouts from around our council? Then this program is perfect for you!
ACES is a council-sponsored community service group. At each event, an ACES Girl Scout will leave with documented hours to use in school, faith organizations, teams, etc. As an ACES Girl Scout, you will participate in ACES-specific community service events to earn the ACES pin, service bars, and much more!
To earn your ACES pin, you need to complete one of the following:

End of year Service, Sleepover, and Adventure. As a member of ACES, you will receive a special invitation to this event via email.
National Girl Scout Advisory Board to GSUSA
Applications for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to apply for the National Girl Scout Advisory Board to GSUSA is now open. GSUSA is seeking ten new members to join for a two-year term.
Applications are due Wednesday, January 24, at 11:59 pm EST.
The national Girl Scout Advisory Board to GSUSA is a group of middle and high school Girl Scouts who make recommendations, contribute to key initiatives, and influence decision-making processes at our national office. Advisory board members develop leadership skills, collaborate with decision-makers at GSUSA, and grow skills to prepare for college and future leadership opportunities. Calling high school-aged girls (9th-12th), are you interested in being a voice for all Girl Scouts in our council?
Join the Teen Leadership Circle to learn about council business, discuss council challenges and opportunities for growth, and create, present, and execute solutions that help drive council priorities forward – while stamping your legacy in our council!

Join us for a day of learning and experiences where we will take a deep dive into democracy and advocacy! Not only will we learn by watching history in real-time, but we will be participating in it! We will spend the day accomplishing the Your Voice, Your World: The Power of Advocacy Journey and interacting with all three branches of government.
There will be a pre-travel Zoom meeting on February 11.

Join us for a day where we take a front-row seat to how the past has shaped the present, hear from those who dreamed of better, and be empowered to be a voice for change to create a better world for girls! Gather with us for a Girltopia Journey day at the Dole Institute for Politics in Lawrence. This is a full Journey experience complete with snacks, lunch, a completed Take Action, and an award badge!
As a Girl Scout, you possess strong characteristics and skills that many colleges and universities seek. Thanks to the generosity of donors, Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri are able to offer several scholarships to help you attend college.
