Girl Scouts C.A.R.E (Community, Action, Responsibility, & Engagement)
Join us each month as we give back to our community through hands-on service opportunities designed just for Girl Scouts! Girl Scouts C.A.R.E opportunities will rotate between family-friendly projects and teen-focused initiatives, ensuring that every Girl Scout—no matter her age or troop level—has a chance to make a difference.
Community service is in our DNA. Whether it's cleaning up at camp, supporting a food pantry, or leading a badge workshop, Girl Scouts take action to improve the world around them.
Family Service Opportunities (odd months): These projects are open to Girl Scouts of all ages and their families. Activities include park cleanups, donation drives, & getting camp ready in the Spring—fun and meaningful ways to serve together.
Teen Service Opportunities (even months): Tailored for Seniors, and Ambassadors, these projects offer teens a chance to take the lead and grow their impact, by supporting GSKSMO and other community programs.
Participation in these events can count toward required community service hours for school, clubs, the Service to Girl Scouting Pin or other programs. Documentation provided upon request.
Each month offers a fresh way to live the Girl Scout Promise and Law by taking action in our communities. Space may be limited, so be sure to sign up early!
