Event Description
Embark on an adventurous nature walk with your fellow Girl Scouts and fuel your sense of adventure while engaging in some friendly competition during a nature scavenger hunt. Let the thrill of discovery and teamwork heighten the bond among Girl Scouts, creating unforgettable memories in the heart of nature. This nature hike will take place on the Lake Vista Loop at Lake Blue Springs and will include a mini lesson on Leave No Trace, as well as a snack and drink at the end to celebrate getting out in nature. This event is also a great stepping stone for our council-ran backpacking trip. Note: This event will take place at the same time as the kayaking excursion over at Lake Jacomo, making it convenient for troops or families who want to participate in both activities. Parking details will be sent out with the confirmation letter on the Monday after registration closes. Troops are responsible for meeting ratio.
