Event Description
Introduction to healthcare professions where you can get hands
on experience with healthcare skills, participate in discussions with
interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, and network with leaders
in healthcare to begin your future as a leader in a healthcare role.
We will introduce a variety of pathways to work in a health-related
field. Girls will get a tour of lab, ER, blood bank, and the
medical/surgical unit with an opportunity to remove sutures. Get
hands-on with x-rays and Occupational Therapy.
Troop levels will each have their own track. Cadettes will receive Babysitter, Seniors + Ambassadors will receive Women's Health, and Juniors will receive the First Aid badge. Everyone receives the STEM Career Explorer Badge.
