Get the chance to test your rock-climbing skills while discovering the powerful benefits of sisterhood and ways to nurture healthy friendships. This lock-in is designed for Girl Scouts to have the opportunity to try rock climbing and complete the aMaze or Mission Sisterhood Journey.

 

Two Locations, One Night of Fun:

This exciting lock-in will take place simultaneously at RoKC North and RoKC Olathe—and you’ll register for just one location, so choose the one that’s most convenient for you!

 

Please Note:

If we don’t receive enough registrations at one of the locations, participants may be moved to the other site. We’ll notify you in advance if that happens and do our best to accommodate your preference.

 

This workshop is a great way to prepare for our HCR Climbing Excursion!

 

Itinerary (This is tentative and subject to change)

 

7:45 PM - Sign In opens for Lock-In Participants

 

8:00 PM - Sign In’s Confirmed 

 

8:15 PM - Group Tour of the facility

 

8:30 PM - Gear Up, Auto-Belay Climb and Rotations for Journey

 

9:30 PM - Bouldering, Auto-belay, Top Rope, and Rotations for Journey

 

11:00 PM - Snacks/pizza

 

1:00  AM - Quiet Time

 

6:00 AM - Wake Up and Pack Up

 

7:00 AM – Pick Up

Cancellation Policy

Cancelled by GSKSMO: The total fee is refunded if the event is canceled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) Cancellations by the group, camper, or attendee more than 2 weeks in advance: If the troop or individual cancels more than 2 weeks before the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Cancellations by the group, camper, or attendee less than 2 weeks in advance: If the troop or individual cancels less than 2 weeks before the event date, the fee will not be refunded except in case of illness, with a statement from the attending physician accompanying the written refund request.
