Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium (6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, MO 64132)
Spend an evening at the zoo with fellow Girl Scouts as you explore the aquarium and take part in fun STEM activities. Afterwards, go back in time to explore 19th-century Paris, the American centennial, and a sci-fi-themed trip to the future in the latest GloWild installation. All attendees will then spend the night inside the zoo!
Explore the Zoo after sunset with night hikes and s'mores. This special overnight will also include fun activity stations related to STEM and Conservation.
Things to know:
- Program participants must be at least five years of age.
- An adult must accompany children.
- You'll sleep in a climate-controlled facility. You will still want to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, and any overnight comfort items.
- Reservations are required before the program start date.
Your overnight adventure includes:
- Fun activities related to STEM and Conservation
- Educational encounter with animal ambassadors
- Evening snack
- Night hike
Zoo admission is not included with the overnight; discounted tickets are available upon request in advance. This event will be held rain or shine.
Attendee Cost
$66 for each attendee (Girl Scouts and their chaperones; tagalongs cannot be accommodated). Registration price includes the cost of GloWild.
This is considered a high-risk event, so all girls will need to be registered Girl Scouts and all attending adults will need to be background checked.
