Date : November 1st, 2025 (except Warrensburg, Manhattan, Lawrence)
Hey Girl Scouts! In the spirit of Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday, let’s continue her tradition of giving back to the community! Throughout September and October, Girl Scouts are encouraged to collect food or basic items for one or more of our community partners. We invite you to discover (the needs in your community), connect (with local partnerships and GS sisterhood), and act (join us in the Girl Scouts Give Back Collection Drive to make our little corner of the world a better place)!
On November 1st (or site-specific dates), please bring your collected items to our drop-off locations! Drive through and drop off your donations. What a great way to show your Girl Scout Spirit!
All girls who participate in the Girl Scouts Give Back Collection Drive by bringing donated items for a community partner in November can purchase the Girl Scouts Give Back patch. Give Back patches are available at the shop.
Locations: We have identified several partners for you to drop off your donations. Each may have differing drop-off times and dates. You may donate to as many organizations as you wish. However, if you prefer to donate to another organization that we haven’t listed, that is great. Please fill out our registration form so we can account for you. October 29th is the deadline for completing the Wufoo form.

About the Girl Scout Staff-Led Program:
The Girl Scout
Staff-Led Program is designed to bring the full Girl Scout experience
to girls in under-resourced communities, providing them with
opportunities to build confidence, leadership, and essential skills
for their future. By partnering with after-school programs connected
to local schools, we bring our programming directly to where the girls
are, ensuring they have access to confidence-building programs. Your
support plays a vital role in expanding the reach of the Girl Scout
Leadership Experience, fostering environments where ALL girls can
thrive and reach their full potential.
How to purchase for Staff-Led troops:
Utilize our Amazon
Wishlist to purchase items for the Girl Scouts Staff-Led Program,
which provides Girl Scout experiences to over 1,000 girls in our
community who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the
confidence-building programming Girl Scouts offers.
Please order through your Amazon account: You can mail your items
directly to our office, or ship them to your home and drop them off on
November 1st at our Overland Park Office. Please include your troop
number and the leader/caregiver's name in the gift message when
completing your transaction. In the "from" section, add your
email address. Check the email recipient box and add customercare@gsksmo.org to the email recipient spot.
