In just two days, Girl Scouts will dive into hands-on projects in construction, welding, machining, automotive, HVAC, and industrial technology—exploring creative, age-appropriate activities that spark interest in high-demand careers. This minicamp is for rising 7th-10th graders.
Event Details
- Location: MCC Penn Valley -Advanced Technical Skills Institute 2944 Troost Ave. Kansas City, MO 64109
- Supervision: This is a drop-off event. Troop leaders are not required to stay.
- Tagalongs: No, tagalongs are not allowed
- Any Forms Required: Yes; please sign the MCC Waiver
- Cost: $50 per girl, STEM Career Exploration and Woodworker Badges included
- Registration Deadline: 7/5/26
What to Expect/Additional Information

Monday and Tuesday are from 9 am-2:30 pm. There will also be a caregiver celebration ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. More details are coming soon!
- MCC Patches and MCC Trades Camp T-shirts are also included!
What to Wear & Bring
- Specific information about what to wear will be sent the week prior.
- Snacks and lunch are provided. If there are dietary restrictions, have girls bring their own lunch and snacks.
