Girl Scout Badge Workshop at Baker Wetlands Celebrate Earth Day
with adventure, creativity, and exploration! Join us for an exciting
day filled with hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and
badge-earning fun! This workshop offers Daisies and Brownies the
chance to earn multiple badges while discovering the wonders of nature
and learning how to protect our environment. Featured Badges: Daisies
(ages 5–7): • Trail Adventure: Explore the outdoors with a guided hike
and games. • Eco Learner: Learn how to protect nature and keep living
things safe. • Outdoor Art Maker: Use nature's sights and sounds to
inspire a creative art project. Brownies (ages 7–9): • Bugs: Discover
the amazing world of bugs with a guided hike by Bluebird, the expert
naturalist. • Eco Friend: Learn how to care for wildlife and treat
outdoor spaces with kindness. • Outdoor Art Creator: Create unique art
projects inspired by the beauty of nature. Program Highlights: • Group
Presentation: Kick off the day with a fun and educational talk by
Bluebird. • Hikes and Rotations: Explore the wetlands and participate
in badge-focused stations led by experienced leaders. • Animal
Encounters: Meet and interact with live animals to learn about their
habitats and importance in the ecosystem.
