Council Camporee 2026: Outdoors – One Size Fits All!

 

Adventure comes in all shapes and sizes - and this spring, it’s time to find yours at Council Camporee 2026: Outdoors - One Size Fits All!

Join Girl Scouts from across the council for a weekend of camping, creativity, and confidence-building at Wildwood Outdoor Education Center. From ziplining and rock climbing to woodworking, archery, and yoga, every girl and adult will find their perfect outdoor challenge. Discover new skills, meet new friends, and celebrate the magic of Girl Scouting in the great outdoors.

Event Details

Location: Wildwood Outdoor Education Center – 7095 W 399th St, Lacygne, KS 66040

Supervision: This is NOT a drop-off event. Troop leaders/caregivers are required to provide appropriate adult-to-Girl Scout ratios and supervision for their attending Girl Scout(s) per the Safety Activity Checkpoints.

Tagalongs: No, tagalongs are not allowed.

Any Forms Required: Yes – High-Risk Waiver required.

Cost:

  1. Day Only: $85 per person
  2. Tent Camping: $115 per person
  3. Cabin Camping: $150 per person
  4. Whole Cabin Rental (fits up to 12 people): $1,600 per cabin

Add-Ons: Rockwall $25/person | Skywalker with Zipline $40/person | Dinner (overnight participants only) $12/person

Lunch is included for all participants. Patches are provided at the event.

Registration Opens: December 1, 2025

Registration Deadline: March 27, 2026

Registration Instructions: Register individually or as a troop. Troops registering together will rank their program preferences as a group.

What to Expect / Additional Information

Get ready for a weekend filled with outdoor fun and adventure!

Participants will rank their top program choices during registration and rotate through engaging outdoor sessions such as Fishing, Letterboxing, Woodworking, Hiking, Yoga, Team Builders, Archery (Brownie only), Slingshots (Daisy only), Atl Atl (Junior only), Axe Throwing (Cadette & up), Boating, and more.

Adults will pay the same rate as girls, as they will also take part in the program activities throughout the weekend.

Lunch is included for all participants. Overnight participants may choose to bring their own dinner to cook over a campfire or in cabins, or pay an additional $12 per person to join the group meal in the dining hall.

This event is open to all Girl Scout levels and adults (members and non-members). Patches are included.

What to Wear & Bring

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Weather-appropriate gear (jacket, poncho, etc.)
  • For overnight participants: camping gear or cabin bedding, personal items, and any food you plan to bring for dinner, if not purchasing the add-on

Parking & Arrival

Parking is available for overnight guests; carpooling is highly encouraged, as parking is limited.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation — no bussing will be provided this year.
