Come spend an evening at the zoo with fellow Girl Scouts as you explore the aquarium and take part in fun STEM activities. Explore the Zoo after sunset with guided night hikes and s'mores. This special event also includes fun activity stations related to STEM and Conservation and the opportunity to spend the night!
Overnight Tickets are available for the following locations:
- Sobela Ocean Aquarium
- Helzberg Penguin Plaza
- Polar Bear Passage
- Zoo Learning Center
*Limited evening-only tickets are also available.
Your Girl Scout Night adventure includes:
- Fun activities related to STEM and Conservation
- Educational encounter with animal ambassadors

Event Details
Supervision: This is NOT a drop-off event. Troop Leaders/caregivers are required to provide appropriate ADULT safety ratio and supervision for their attending Girl Scout and/or troop throughout the event/activity, per Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints. This is considered a high-risk event, so all girls will need to be registered Girl Scouts and all attending adults will need to be background checked.
Tagalongs: No, tagalongs are not allowed

Cost: Costs are per person, Girl Scouts and their adults only. Zoo admission is not included with the overnight; discounted tickets are available upon request in advance. Tier pricing for sleeping location selected at registration. Spots are limited within each area; once an area has sold out, no additional spots will be added. Patch included.

What to Expect/Additional Information
- This is troop or family friendly!
- Program participants must be at least five years of age.
- Children must be accompanied by a background-checked adult.
- This is an overnight program; all participants that pay for the overnight should plan to stay until 8:00 am.
- Reservations are required prior to the program start date.
- This event will
be held rain or shine.
What to Wear & Bring
Overnight attendees will sleep in a climate-controlled facility.
You will still want to bring sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, and any
overnight comfort items.
