Flowers bring beauty, joy, perfume, medicine, seeds, and good nutrition to everyone's life. Join women, former Girl Scouts, and troop leaders of the Kansas City Community Gardens to participate in the Flowers Badge Workshop. Girl Scouts will observe many different flowers, fruits, herbs, grains, and vegetables. Girls will also learn about water gardens and become flower experts by making their own personal Neighborhood Flower Guide. This is a Flower Badge workshop that you don't want to miss!
Event Details
Supervision: This is NOT a drop-off event. Troop Leaders/caregivers are required to provide an appropriate ADULT-to-Girl Scout ratio and supervision for their attending Girl Scout and/or troop throughout the event/activity, per the Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Tagalongs: Yes, tagalongs are allowed
Cost: $18 per participant (Flowers Badge included)

What to Expect/Additional Information
- Prepayment is required for registration. Invoices for online payment will be sent by email before the workshop. No refunds or adjustments can be given within 5 days of the event so that KCCG can plan and staff accordingly. Please look over the invoice and contact tours@kccg.org or 816-931-3877 ext. 320 with any questions.
- Please dress for the weather. KCCG recommends a hat, sunscreen, good walking shoes, and a labeled water bottle.
- Caregivers can join free of cost
- Kansas City Community Gardens is ADA Accessible.
