When you team up with a small group of Girl Scout friends to find an issue you care about and then make a difference in your community, you can earn the Girl Scout Silver Award—one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting.

1. Begin your Pathway

Welcome! Learn about the Silver Award basics by downloading the Silver Award Guidelines. Review the content with your Girl Scouts.

Steps for Silver Award Project at a GSKSMO Camp Property
  1. Thinking about a project on a GSKSMO Camp property? Contact to discuss ideas and options.
  2. Once you have discussed your ideas with Camp Dept. Submit your project to Highest Award - Camp Property Project Request Form
  3. Upon approval of your camp project, proceed to drop down step 2, Intent to Earn!
2. Intent to Earn

Once you have completed step one, fill out the Intent to Earn form! Please visit our training calendar and register for an upcoming Bronze and Silver Drop-In and Info Session.

If you have completed your Intent to Earn form, and you have not heard from your program level advisor within a week of your submission, please email

You can pursue your Girl Scout Silver Award if: 

You're in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade (or equivalent)


You're a registered Girl Scout Cadette 


You have completed a Cadette Journey
